Welcome to Dead Beats Coffee Club, a guide to Seoul's cafés.

 

I have to confess, before I moved to Korea in 2017, I never went to cafes. It may come as a shock coming from the writer of a café blog named Dead Beats Coffee Club, but I actually don’t like coffee (judge me all you like, but I just like milk tea). But after moving here, I realised that a café is not just a place to drink coffee. Rather, I discovered it's actually quite nice to sit and enjoy the ambiance of a café with a friend or good book.

Now, when my habit of visiting a café every now and then, turned into an obsession of visiting at least two cafes a day, I thought something could be done with this.

 

Being a writer and all, I thought there should be something to stop the that endless black hole of deliberation between friends, thinking "where should we go next?" And thus Dead Beats Coffee Club was born.
