Yaksu is a very typical Korean family residential area, that is notably a hot spot for doctors’ clinics. Yet this is where you will find Offset.
To enter the small café you must cross a small walkway over a small rock pool. This pool one of the drawing points of this café. I went quite early in the day and they were refilling the pool. But although I couldn’t see it in its full glory, it was still beautiful to look at the water slowly filling the pool.

Inside, the café had a very dark and chic minimalist interior. It had a sophisticated feel that came from displays of art books and large framed prints. It also had great lighting, which used mixed fixtures; strip lighting around the bar and benches and chic lamps throughout the café.

The café was small with three seating areas. One was directly in front of the café’s large windowed shopfront. The next were a pair of long padded benches, which also had soft padding along the walls for the bench seating, a very much welcomed comfort. And finally, around the main counter there was bar seating. This meant that the café is definitely only a place for socialising and not working.

I ordered the Hibiscus tea. While there were four options for tea, it was only thing I was somewhat interested in. The tea was beautifully presented with a dried orange and what I think were dried bay leaves. The tea was nice and had a good serving size. However the only down fall was that you could not remove the tea leaves, therefore the tea got bitter before you could finish it.
If you’re ever near Yaksu, this is a nice café to visit if you feel a little classy. In dead beat terms this is a relaxing café to chat or sit and read a book.
